I’m an illustrator and designer who lives and works in Western Canada. I grew up with a love for drawing and followed that passion to MacEwan University, where I graduated from the Design and Illustration program. My illustrations have been in campaigns, magazines, children’s books, and exhibitions across Canada and the United States.
In addition to illustration, I work as a graphic designer at Curio Studio, where I’m the creative director and owner. Being a designer helps me better understand the role of illustration within an overall design, and the ways in which the two disciplines work together. I was president of the Graphic Designers of Canada, Alberta North Chapter. More recently, I’ve started focusing on a new design advocacy project called Canadian Women in Design. Last but definitely not least, I am a mother to Jacob Jasper.
I like design, art making, nature, teaching kids or adults, and collaborating with people who think positive. Feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss your project!
